Our MD Davide Garbinaro is, and always has been, passionate about food and wine.
Italian by birth, he grew up in a loving, traditional Italian family who owned bars and restaurants, so consequently, hospitality runs through his veins… well he did make his first cappuccino at the age of 6!
During his career he has been everything from a glass cleaner on the French Riviera (whilst studying Hotel & Restaurant Management), Bar Manager at various Club Med resorts, Restaurant Manager at Chez Livio in Paris, and Sales Manager for a Food and Wine Importer in the UK.
Davide decided to set up a company so that others could take advantage of his knowledge and expertise, because throughout his extensive career, he has found that with his dynamic and charismatic personality, plus extensive experience in the hospitality business, people have always been drawn to him, eager to tap into his ‘Midas touch’ and find out how to run a successful restaurant or bar.
Ho.Re.Ca Consultancy are open to all projects from empty buildings, needing a complete set up including staff, equipment, menus and advertisements, to smaller projects for people who just need a new boost for their existing company.
Davide can also offer hands-on training for sommelier or front of house staff, waiter/waitress, kitchen staff and admin, and through his vast experience, able to put the right person in front of you.
